Hi! Our products are designed and safety tested for ages 3 and up, but the individual user will know what fits best. These tools are going to be ideally sized for hands over 6 years old, up to any adult age.

Yes they surely are! Every type of paint or ink has it’s recommended way to wash off of tools, but for water-based tempera and other “common classroom paints”, here’s the best way to wash them:

Lather up with a small amount of your preferred dish soap, and give tools a thorough cleaning in warm water. Repeat as needed, though 1-2 washes will usually work. It’s normal for the tools to hold a little paint in the crevices… we see this as becoming “well loved”. Creativity is a badge of honor!
