Who We Are
WeVeel® is a small, women-led company of creators, artists and parents, with decades of experience in creative tools, sensory art and scented art, kids products, and art activities of all ages. As industry leaders selling in over 28 countries and growing, our expertise in creative expression stretches across multiple brands, categories and retailers.
We make toys, we make art, and more than anything, we’re always exploring the question, “how can we make an expressive life more possible”?
Where We Started
A short time ago, our CEO spoke to her lifelong friend and board member of the San Francisco-based school The Bridge School, top experts and leaders in AAC and accessible education. She told us about the educators and staff therapists’ ongoing struggles with the existence of adaptive tools – teachers cobbling together plumbing pipe and duct tape – just to give students a way to creatively express themselves with tools to fit their needs.
Our “Why”
We knew, as leaders in creative tools and expression, that we had the power to change that. After a year and a half of research and development, testing and talking, reading and learning, we are finally launching our first line of tools designed for a wide range of physical ability levels – to paint, to make marks, to print and to create. The Kind Mind Co.™ exists because everyone should have access to tools that empower them - to be an artist, to be a creator, to be themselves.
Giving Back
None of this would be possible without the expert guidance, education, product testing and inspiration from The Bridge School. That’s why a portion of the sale of every The Kind Mind Co.™ tool will return to The Bridge School, for US- and world-wide programs to support and empower the students who are so often not accommodated or supported in the educational world that tries desperately to keep up with growing needs.
